Leukemia is a cancer of the blood cells. There are several blood cells but Leukemia mainly affects the white blood cells. White blood cells do no function like normal white blood cells with Leukemia.

Some of the symptoms include:
- Excessive sweating
- fatigue/weakness
- unintentional weight loss
- bone pain
- painless but swollen lymph nodes
- englargement of the liver
- red spots on the skin
- bleeding easily
- fever
- frequent infections
In order to diagnose this type of cancer doctors have to run blood test, imaging, and biopsies.
The treatment for Leukemia also depends on what stage and what type of cancer you are currently in.
